About the Role
Flytime Promotions Ltd, a pioneering force in Nigerian entertainment, branding, and public relations since 2004, is looking for a dedicated Sound - Audio Support, Equipment Assistance (Intern) to join our dynamic production team. In this exciting internship, you will gain hands-on experience working alongside industry professionals on some of Africa's most prestigious concerts and live events.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the audio engineering team with the setup, rigging, and dismantling of sound equipment for events.
- Perform routine maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of microphones, speakers, mixers, and cabling.
- Manage inventory of audio gear, ensuring all equipment is properly accounted for and stored safely.
- Provide on-site support during sound checks and live performances to ensure seamless audio delivery.
- Collaborate with production crews to meet stage plot and technical rider requirements.
- Basic understanding of live sound reinforcement, audio engineering principles, and equipment handling.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Music Technology, Sound Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong passion for live events, concert production, and the Nigerian entertainment industry.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and time-management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Physical stamina and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
