About the Role
CARS45 Limited, Nigeria's largest car-buying service, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Inspection Officer to join our dynamic Retail Team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive evaluations on a variety of vehicles to ensure accurate pricing and seamless transactions for our customers at our strategic inspection centres.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive interior and exterior evaluations of various vehicle models.
- Utilize advanced vehicle scanning equipment to diagnose engine, transmission, brake, steering, and air conditioning systems.
- Conduct safe test drives for both manual and automatic transmission vehicles in compliance with traffic laws.
- Communicate vehicle conditions clearly to sellers to facilitate smooth negotiation processes.
- Generate detailed inspection reports and identify any questionable odometer readings or VIN discrepancies.
- Conduct remote inspections for local car dealerships as assigned by management.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure proper upkeep of tools and diagnostic equipment.
- HND or B.Sc in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering; OND holders, mechanics, or graduates with strong industry experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in vehicle diagnosis, inspection, or repair.
- Proficient in driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Sound knowledge of modern automobile repairs, vehicle models, and best industry practices.
- Good computer literacy and strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proximity to our inspection centre locations is an added advantage.
