We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Sonographer to join our dynamic team in Lagos, where you will play a critical role in patient care and accurate medical investigations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate advanced ultrasound imaging equipment to produce clear, high-quality diagnostic images.
- Review images thoroughly to ensure technical quality and identify potential abnormalities requiring further medical review.
- Prepare patients for ultrasound, X-ray, and ECG examinations by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and applying transmission gel.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, carefully documenting examination findings and technical parameters.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare professionals, providing clear preliminary observations and exam results.
- Adhere strictly to safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile clinical environment.
- Stay current with emerging advancements in ultrasound technology, medical imaging techniques, and diagnostic procedures.
- Possess a First Degree in Radiography from a recognized institution.
- Hold a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Ultrasound.
- Demonstrate 2 to 4 years of hands-on professional experience as a Sonographer in a medical facility.
- Hold a valid, current license to practice radiography and sonography in Nigeria.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect compassionately with diverse patients.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient medical records and institutional information.
