About the Role
Memfys Hospital was founded in 2002 as a pioneering neurosurgical unit based in Enugu, Nigeria. As the first and only specialist hospital of its kind in West Africa, our mission is to offer neurosurgical and neurological patient care comparable to developed countries. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Experienced Radiographer to join our esteemed medical imaging team on a full-time, on-site basis in Enugu.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and optimize diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring superior image quality for neurosurgical and specialist care teams.
- Operate advanced radiologic equipment while strictly adhering to established radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
- Prepare, comfort, and correctly position patients for various imaging procedures, maintaining accuracy and empathy.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, neurologists, and multidisciplinary clinicians to support timely and accurate diagnoses.
- Maintain precise imaging records, execute routine quality control checks, and perform basic equipment troubleshooting.
- Degree or diploma in Radiography with valid professional certification and registration with relevant regulatory bodies.
- Proven post-qualification experience working in a reputable hospital or specialized clinical imaging environment.
- Deep understanding of radiation safety, radiation management, and digital imaging systems including PACS.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, adherence to strict clinical protocols, and problem-solving abilities.
