About the Role
Clinix Healthcare is a leading diagnostic services provider offering a full range of advanced medical investigations and remedial solutions of international standards. Known for delivering accurate results at reasonable rates with quick turnaround times, we are currently seeking a skilled, accurate, and professional Sonographer to join our dedicated team at the Badagry facility. In this role, you will play a vital part in performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, supporting precise diagnostics, and delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a diverse range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, pelvic, and soft tissue scans.
- Ensure proper patient preparation, precise positioning, and clear, compassionate communication throughout procedures.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain ultrasound equipment strictly according to established operating procedures.
- Capture high-quality diagnostic images and document preliminary findings accurately.
- Maintain comprehensive patient records while strictly adhering to infection control, safety, and confidentiality protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other clinical staff to support timely patient diagnoses.
- Degree or diploma in Radiography, Medical Imaging, Ultrasonography, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Mandatory postgraduate certificate in Ultrasound.
- Valid practicing license and registration with the relevant professional regulatory body in Nigeria, such as the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
- Proven previous experience working as a Sonographer within a reputable diagnostic center or hospital.
- Completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate is an added advantage.
