About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Sonographer to join our dynamic clinical team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional patient care and accurate diagnostic results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician requests and established clinical protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures while ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity.
  • Operate and maintain advanced ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Assess image quality and identify clinical abnormalities for review by the interpreting physician.
  • Accurately document examination findings and maintain complete, confidential patient records.
  • Ensure strict compliance with infection prevention, safety standards, and patient privacy regulations.
  • Report equipment faults promptly and coordinate routine maintenance as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Provide compassionate, professional, and patient-centered care at all times.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and engage in continuing professional development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Medical Imaging, or a related field.
  • Valid professional license or registration to practice as a Sonographer in Nigeria.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
  • Proficiency in performing general ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, and small-parts imaging.
  • Strong technical knowledge of modern ultrasound equipment and advanced imaging techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
