About the Role
mCore Systems is a premier Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) telecom core network infrastructure vendor based in Lagos, Nigeria. We engineer robust, carrier-grade infrastructure designed to power next-generation mobile services across the African continent. We are currently seeking a visionary and technically proficient Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team and bridge the gap between complex client business requirements and our cutting-edge telecommunications technology.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with telecom operator clients to understand their business challenges and design bespoke core network solutions.
- Lead the end-to-end architecture, planning, and deployment of telecom infrastructure across various mobile network environments.
- Provide expert technical pre-sales support, including preparing proposals, delivering client presentations, and participating in tender responses.
- Work alongside engineering and product development teams to ensure seamless integration of customized features and functionalities.
- Provide high-level technical guidance during project implementation, troubleshooting, and system optimization phases.
- Stay abreast of emerging telecommunications trends, industry standards, and 5G technologies to advise internal stakeholders and clients effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecom core network architecture, systems integration, or pre-sales engineering within the telecommunications sector.
- In-depth knowledge of 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G core network architectures, IMS, signaling protocols, and cloud-native network functions.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic business solutions for diverse enterprise clients.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with fluency in English.
- Proven track record of managing successful infrastructure deployment projects across the African telecom market is a distinct advantage.
