About the Role

Global Village Healthcare Initiative for Africa (GHIV Africa) is a leading non-governmental, non-profit humanitarian and developmental organization committed to improving healthcare delivery and quality of life in vulnerable African communities. Founded in 2014, we deliver vital assistance before, during, and after crisis situations regardless of religion, race, gender, or political affiliation. As part of our ongoing humanitarian interventions, we are officially soliciting competitive bids from reputable, experienced vendors and contractors for critical projects across Karasuwa, Machina, and Nguru Local Government Areas in Yobe State.

Key Responsibilities

Successful vendors will be expected to execute procurement and installation services in strict adherence to project specifications and donor regulations. The scope of work is categorized into two distinct lots:

  • Slot 1: Solarization of Health Facilities in Karasuwa, Machina, and Nguru (Yobe State), ensuring reliable and sustainable power supply for healthcare delivery.
  • Slot 2: Procurement and Supply of Tom Brown Grains in Karasuwa, Machina, and Nguru (Yobe State) to support nutritional and food security needs.
  • Ensure all supplies and installations meet the highest standards of quality and are delivered within the agreed project timeline.
  • Adhere strictly to all humanitarian procurement guidelines, ethical standards, and anti-fraud policies.

Qualifications

Interested and eligible vendors must meet the following mandatory compliance and selection criteria to be considered for the tender:

  • Must be a registered business entity with verifiable evidence of previous experience in successfully delivering similar solar installation or grain supply projects.
  • Compliance with all Nigerian government and donor regulations, including valid tax clearance certificates for the previous year.
  • Demonstrated integrity with no involvement in fraud, corruption, or terrorism activities.
  • Submission of all tender documents fully filled, signed, and stamped on official company letterheads.
  • Provision of a valid means of identification (such as NIN, Driver's License, or International Passport) for at least one company representative.
  • Local presence or operational capacity in Borno and Yobe states is a strong advantage, and qualified local companies are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Strict adherence to submission guidelines: All physical bids must be sealed in an envelope marked appropriately and submitted to the GHIV Africa office located beside Armani Event Center, Argungu Street, Damboa Road, Maiduguri, Borno State, no later than 19/09/2026 at 4:30 PM. Note that soft copy documents and unsealed or late bids will be automatically disqualified.
