About the Role
Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC is looking for a talented DevSecOps and Software Design Engineer to join our innovative technology team in Nigeria. In this role, you will design, build, secure, and optimize enterprise software solutions and delivery platforms, driving modern software delivery through automation, cloud-native technologies, and secure-by-design principles.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop secure, scalable, and resilient software solutions and application architectures.
- Drive modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption, microservices, and API-led architectures.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery and improve quality.
- Champion DevSecOps practices through automation, security integration, and continuous improvement.
- Integrate application monitoring, logging, observability, and operational resilience capabilities.
- Partner with development, security, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver aligned technology solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support to engineering teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering and DevOps, with at least 3 years in a senior technical role.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications and platforms.
- Relevant professional certifications are an added advantage.
