We are currently seeking a dedicated Information Technology Specialist to maintain, upgrade, and secure our technological systems, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first-level technical support to staff on hardware, software, internet, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, scanners, CCTV systems, biometric devices, and other IT equipment.
- Monitor and maintain company networks, servers, internet connectivity, and communication systems.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose faults, and implement solutions promptly.
- Ensure data security, backup, and recovery procedures are properly maintained.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, access rights, and email configurations.
- Support the deployment and maintenance of security software, antivirus, and firewalls.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses, repairs, and system updates.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for repairs, installations, and technical support.
- Monitor CCTV systems and ensure surveillance equipment functions effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, procedures, and cybersecurity standards.
- Train staff on basic IT usage, cybersecurity awareness, and system applications.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in IT support, network administration, or systems maintenance.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, biometric access control, and physical security hardware.
- Understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, routing, switching, and IP addressing.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize urgent technical issues effectively.
