About the Role
Corona Management Systems (CMS) is a dynamic social enterprise leveraging Information and Communications Technology, data, and community assets to drive impactful change in health, education, and social development across Nigeria. We are currently looking for a talented and driven Software Developer to join our growing engineering team and help build innovative technological solutions that address critical societal challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable software solutions from inception through deployment.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following industry best practices and standards.
- Participate in architectural and technical design decisions to shape the future of our core platforms.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive, growth-oriented feedback to fellow engineers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features on schedule.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical debt to ensure optimal system reliability.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, actively supporting their technical growth and professional development.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or Go.
- Solid understanding of core software design principles, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Proven track record of building, deploying, and maintaining production-grade applications at scale.
- Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases, as well as Git version control workflows.
- Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills with an agile mindset.
