As a Social Studies Teacher, you will be instrumental in fostering students' understanding of history, geography, civics, and social sciences while promoting analytical thinking and responsible citizenship.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons aligned with the Nigerian curriculum
- Create a dynamic learning environment that encourages student participation and critical analysis
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Participate in school management and administrative duties
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance academic standards
- Mentor students in developing research and presentation skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.ED or B.S.ED) in Social Studies or related field
- Minimum 5 years of proven teaching experience in school management
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian educational curriculum standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
