About the Role
JV Management Consulting is recruiting a dynamic and digitally savvy Social Media Officer on behalf of a leading client in the travel and tourism industry. In this role based in Allen, Ikeja, Lagos, you will spearhead our online presence, increase brand awareness, and convert digital engagement into valuable customer enquiries for travel packages, flight bookings, and holiday tours.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain active social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Develop comprehensive weekly and monthly content calendars aligned with business goals.
- Create engaging multimedia content including reels, short videos, stories, and promotional graphics using tools like Canva and CapCut.
- Monitor online engagement, responding promptly and professionally to direct messages and comments.
- Support lead generation by effectively directing prospective clients to sales channels.
- Plan and execute targeted social media campaigns for holiday deals, flights, and tour packages.
- Track and report on key performance metrics such as reach, engagement, impressions, and conversion rates.
- HND or Bachelor Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven practical experience managing social media platforms and creating digital content, preferably within the travel or lifestyle sector.
- Exceptional copywriting, proofreading, and storytelling skills with a strong eye for visual aesthetics.
- Proficiency in using content creation and management tools including Canva, CapCut, and Meta Business Suite.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics, digital marketing principles, and emerging online trends.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and work independently or within a team.
