About the Role
KAAF Specialist Hospital, located within the University of Lagos, is seeking a creative, strategic, and detail-oriented Social Media Manager / Content Creator to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will elevate our digital presence, foster meaningful engagement with our patient community, and champion health awareness across Nigeria. You will play a vital role in showcasing our comprehensive services, including obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, and family planning.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across key platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Produce compelling patient-education content, graphics, and multimedia campaigns that resonate with families and healthcare seekers.
- Manage day-to-day posting schedules and drive active community engagement through professional online interactions.
- Ensure all digital messaging strictly adheres to healthcare regulations, medical ethics, and hospital administration standards.
- Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and medical staff to translate complex medical information into accessible public content.
- Analyze social media metrics regularly to optimize content performance, audience reach, and digital campaign ROI.
- Maintain a consistent, empathetic brand voice that reflects KAAF Specialist Hospital's core values of care and excellence.
- Monitor online conversations, address patient inquiries professionally, and stay updated on emerging digital marketing trends.
- Possession of a Bachelor Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, English, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of proven professional experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
- Demonstrated ability to write clearly, creatively, and accurately about sensitive health and wellness topics.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools, video editing software, and social media analytics platforms.
- High organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple multimedia projects and ad-hoc tasks swiftly.
