About the Role
Woodridge and Scott Consulting is seeking a creative, commercially minded, and digitally savvy Social Media Manager to manage and grow our online presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp. In this role, you will develop and execute social media strategies that increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and ultimately drive hardware sales. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in technology and consumer electronics, with the unique ability to translate complex technical specifications into simple, compelling content for our audience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with overall business and sales goals.
- Create engaging photo, graphic, and short-form video content showcasing laptops, desktops, accessories, and IT hardware.
- Produce valuable educational content including buying guides, product comparisons, tech tips, and troubleshooting advice.
- Manage paid social media campaigns using Meta Ads Manager to maximize ROI and lead generation.
- Respond promptly to direct messages and comments, actively converting social media enquiries into qualified sales leads.
- Monitor digital trends, analyze competitor strategies, and track performance metrics to optimize future campaigns.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience managing social media accounts for a commercial brand.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating engaging short-form video content for platforms like Instagram Reels and TikTok.
- Familiarity with computer and IT hardware terminology, including processors, RAM, storage, and peripherals.
- Proficiency in design and editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, and Meta Business Suite.
- Strong copywriting, storytelling, and analytical skills.
