About the Role
The Congenital Heart Disease Foundation of Nigeria (CHDF) is seeking a passionate and creative Social Media & Communications Manager to champion our mission of supporting children and individuals living with Congenital Heart Disease ("Hole in the Heart"). We are looking for a dynamic communicator who can transform digital engagement into tangible partnerships, fundraising success, and life-saving real-world impact across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day posting and community engagement across all CHDFNigeria social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X.
- Develop and execute monthly strategic content calendars in collaboration with the Multimedia Team.
- Identify trending topics, sounds, and conversations early, connecting them naturally to CHD awareness and advocacy.
- Lead and mentor the Multimedia Team to ensure consistent brand voice and aligned messaging.
- Spearhead creative social-media-led fundraising campaigns and nurture online relationships with donors, healthcare professionals, influencers, and policymakers.
- Monitor analytics to track growth, optimize engagement, and report on campaign performance.
- Degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Media Studies, Marketing, or a Health-related field.
- Proven track record of successfully growing a brand or organizational audience with demonstrable engagement.
- Proficiency in Canva, Meta Business Suite, analytics platforms, AI content generation, and basic animation tools.
- High emotional intelligence and a conversational online demeanor with a passion for humanitarian work and non-profit communications.
- Medical or health-related background is a strong added advantage.
