About the Role
MSI Reproductive Choices is a global leader in sexual and reproductive healthcare, dedicated to delivering compassionate, affordable, and high-quality services. With operations across 37 countries, our locally led teams empower women and girls with the right to choose their own futures. We are currently looking for a dynamic Social & Behaviour Change Communication Officer to join our team in Nigeria and spearhead impactful community engagement, advocacy, and demand creation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute community entry activities, stakeholder mapping, and maintain a comprehensive database of local influencers and partners.
- Identify and build the capacity of Community Based Organizations (CBOs), Ward Development Committees, and Youth Champions to drive service uptake.
- Lead demand generation, marketing campaigns, and stigma-reduction strategies across designated channels of operation.
- Engage with key government stakeholders, traditional and religious leaders, and the media to foster an enabling environment for reproductive health programmes.
- Ensure data quality, track referrals, and submit accurate monthly and quarterly reports alongside success stories.
- First Degree in any relevant discipline with a minimum of 3 years of post-NYSC experience in strategic communications.
- Proven expertise in CSO management, community engagement, and high-level advocacy.
- Strong knowledge of donor contract requirements, budgeting, and reporting.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and remote team management skills.
- Demonstrated pro-choice stance and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment.
