About the Role
GVA Partners is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SOC Analyst Level II to join our dynamic cybersecurity operations team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding our organization's digital assets against unauthorized access, data alteration, and emerging cyber threats through proactive vulnerability identification and advanced incident response.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the cybersecurity operations team to detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents and potential threats.
- Conduct forensic investigations and vulnerability assessments across on-premises, datacenter, and cloud infrastructures.
- Review and recommend optimizations for networking and security settings to continuously strengthen the organization's security posture.
- Develop and maintain key performance metrics that accurately reflect the security health of the infrastructure.
- Monitor global threat intelligence feeds to stay updated on emerging trends, industry reports, and vulnerabilities that may impact the firm.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of overall experience in the cybersecurity domain.
- At least 2 years of dedicated hands-on experience working as a SOC or Forensic Analyst supporting incident response operations.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, network protocols, and modern security posture management.
