About the Role
Eko Maintenance Limited is a rapidly growing Facility Management Company specializing in the maintenance of high-rise building facilities, with our office located in Victoria Island, Lagos. We are currently seeking a proactive and skilled SOC Analyst to monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats across our organization's IT environment, utilizing advanced security tools to maintain a robust defense posture.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM platforms like Microsoft Sentinel or Splunk.
- Investigate, triage, and analyze logs from endpoints, servers, firewalls, and cloud environments.
- Identify indicators of compromise (IOCs), including malicious IPs, domains, and suspicious processes.
- Support incident response, containment, eradication, and recovery activities.
- Analyze phishing emails, investigate compromised accounts, and conduct basic threat hunting.
- Maintain and improve security monitoring rules, detection logic, and dashboards.
- Degree or diploma in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, BTL1, GIAC, or Microsoft security credentials are a strong advantage.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in SOC operations and incident response.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, networking protocols, Windows, Linux, and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework, Cyber Kill Chain, and basic scripting in PowerShell or Python.
