Our Nigerian team is seeking a qualified Site Lifting Specialist Officer to support critical lifting operations and rigging activities on offshore and onshore projects.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and execute site lifting operations in compliance with international safety standards
- Conduct pre-lift assessments and produce detailed lifting plans for complex operations
- Supervise rigging teams and ensure proper use of lifting equipment and techniques
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and records of all lifting activities
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and safety officers to ensure seamless execution
- Perform regular equipment inspections and maintenance verification
- Lead toolbox talks and ensure team adherence to safety protocols
- Relevant certification in lifting and rigging operations (OPITO, IMCA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in site lifting specialist roles
- Strong understanding of API and international lifting standards
- Excellent knowledge of crane operations and load management
- Valid safety certifications (BOSIET, First Aid, or similar)
- Proven track record in the Oil & Gas industry
