About the Role
Scruples Resources is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Construction Supervisor to oversee and provide technical support for drilling and wellbore construction activities across Nigeria's energy sector. In this vital field-based role, you will ensure all operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with approved programs, company standards, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and monitor drilling operations in accordance with approved well designs and procedures.
- Coordinate well construction activities from spud through casing, cementing, and handover.
- Monitor drilling parameters, hole conditions, hydraulics, and critical wellbore indicators.
- Coordinate drilling contractors and specialist service companies to minimize non-productive time.
- Support well control operations and participate in emergency response and risk assessments.
- Ensure all field activities comply with company HSE requirements and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate daily drilling reports, service records, and technical documentation.
- Bachelor degree or HND in Petroleum, Drilling, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in drilling and well construction with strong field presence.
- Valid IWCF or IADC Well Control certification.
- Strong knowledge of API, ISO, IADC, and industry well construction standards.
