About the Role
Strategic Outsourcing Limited is seeking a dedicated and thorough Site Cleaner to join our dynamic team and maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization across our client's site offices and active construction environments. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring a safe, tidy, and welcoming workspace for all staff members, contractors, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain all site office areas, meeting rooms, and reception areas on a daily basis.
- Maintain all welfare facilities including canteens, rest areas, toilets, and shower blocks to optimal hygiene standards.
- Clear construction debris, waste, and packaging efficiently from common circulation routes, access roads, and communal zones.
- Manage waste segregation in the construction waste area, ensuring general waste, recyclables, and hazardous materials are correctly sorted.
- Support the Environmental Compliance Officer in maintaining clean concrete washout areas and fuel storage zones.
- Clean and properly set up meeting rooms before and after scheduled meetings.
- Provide intensive cleaning support during the fit-out phase, removing plaster dust and packaging from finished units prior to handover inspections.
- Report any property damage, maintenance requirements, or welfare facility defects promptly to the Site Administrator.
- Proven previous experience working as a cleaner, preferably within a construction site or industrial environment.
- Basic understanding of health and safety guidelines regarding waste disposal and hazardous materials.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and the ability to report facility defects accurately.
