About the Role
Filmhouse Cinemas Limited, a leading dynamic film exhibition and distribution company in Nigeria, is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Site Auditor to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding company assets, ensuring operational compliance, driving revenue efficiency, and maintaining strict financial integrity across our cinema sites. You will serve as the primary on-site link between cinema operations, finance, and internal audit.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct real-time monitoring of sales, inventory, and general operational activities to detect and escalate fraud or irregularities.
- Perform daily reconciliation of sales, including cash, POS, bank transfers, and online payments, reporting variances to the Finance department.
- Manage POS terminal operations, resolve chargebacks in conjunction with the Support Office, and oversee cash drop and evacuation processes.
- Conduct daily and weekly stock counts, reconcile inventory, and manage petty cash disbursements and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company processes and procedures, safeguarding financial information and company assets.
- Support the finance and internal audit departments with monthly financial reconciliations, fixed asset tracking, and statutory remittance filings.
- Minimum of HND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant auditing, accounting, or financial control experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, methods, and practices within a fast-paced retail or entertainment environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
