About the Role
LifeBank is a dynamic healthcare technology and logistics platform dedicated to making blood and vital medical supplies available when and where they are needed in Nigeria to save lives. We mobilize blood donations, manage nationwide inventory, and deliver products under optimal conditions to the point of need. We are currently seeking a meticulous and hands-on Finance Manager to join our fast-paced team in Lagos.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, and proper allocation of customer payments.
- Prepare and update accounts receivable ageing reports, identifying collection risks and resolving billing discrepancies.
- Perform comprehensive bank, customer, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations to maintain absolute financial integrity.
- Prepare and submit accurate monthly management accounts, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Analyze financial performance across various business units, investigating budget variances and providing actionable insights to the CEO.
- Maintain complete supporting documentation and audit trails for all financial transactions and reconciliations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of demonstrable experience in financial management, accounting, and reporting.
- Strong proficiency in financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling.
- Exceptional analytical skills with extreme attention to detail and high ethical standards.
- Advanced proficiency in modern accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
