About the Role

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shuttle Bay Transport Assistant to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating shuttle bay operations, passenger movements, and transportation activities, ensuring that all personnel and materials are transported safely, efficiently, and on schedule in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend to personnel travelling through the shuttle bay and ensure timely shuttle departures.
  • Ensure vehicles are available at least 15 minutes before scheduled departure times.
  • Print manifests and verify that all personnel board the correct shuttle.
  • Coordinate closely with Security and Transport teams to guarantee safe and adequate transit logistics.
  • Conduct daily safety toolbox talks and mandatory breathalyzer tests for all drivers.
  • Manage vehicle requests and transportation arrangements for incoming and outgoing personnel.
  • Liaise seamlessly with Airport Protocol Officers to facilitate smooth passenger transfers.
  • Oversee transit materials to ensure all items securely reach their intended destinations.
  • Respond promptly to travel-related enquiries and provide accurate information to personnel.
  • Monitor passenger movements and contact unavailable personnel prior to departure.
  • Maintain accurate shuttle bay records, manifests, and comprehensive daily or weekly reports.
  • Coordinate vehicle decontamination activities and document compliance accordingly.
  • Ensure the shuttle bay environment remains safe, organized, and welcoming for travellers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any relevant discipline.
  • Maximum of 2 years of professional experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
  • Previous experience within the Oil and Gas industry is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
  • Basic computer proficiency for report generation and record-keeping.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and customer service abilities.
  • Proven capacity to thrive and multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
