We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping & Logistics Officer (NYSC / Fresher) to join our growing team in Nigeria. This entry-level role is ideal for ambitious graduates eager to build a rewarding career in supply chain management, freight operations, and international trade with a reputable manufacturing leader.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate domestic and international shipments efficiently to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Monitor shipment schedules and work proactively to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Assist in preparing accurate shipping and export documentation in compliance with industry standards.
- Liaise professionally with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, and clearing agents.
- Track containers and provide regular, up-to-date shipment status reports to management.
- Maintain comprehensive logistics records and digital filing systems.
- Support inventory and warehouse coordination activities to optimize stock movement.
- Ensure full compliance with company operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed logistics reports and handle general administrative documentation as required.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Maritime Studies, or a related discipline.
- Currently serving NYSC members or recent graduates looking for an entry-level opportunity.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail and a strong willingness to learn and grow.
- Prior knowledge or internship experience in shipping, import/export processes, or freight operations is an added advantage.
