About the Role

In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining operational efficiency, monitoring equipment parameters, and ensuring the seamless generation of power to support our extensive manufacturing ecosystem. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily shift operations of the assigned power plant area to guarantee maximum efficiency and zero preventable stoppages.
  • Monitor and control operational parameters for all equipment, maintaining accurate daily records.
  • Independently manage power plant control room operations and Distributed Control System (DCS) functions.
  • Handle process and service unit startups and shutdowns competently without impacting online units.
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies in coordination with the Shift Manager.
  • Manage Balance of Plant (BOP) operations and ensure strict adherence to workplace housekeeping standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support in-house training initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date maintenance history logs and analyze control room PC parameters for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering (Power option), or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a gas-based power plant, with at least 2 years of direct control room experience.
  • In-depth understanding of power plant systems and inter-system dynamics.
  • Proficiency in SAP production report generation and office productivity tools.
  • Working knowledge of applicable ISO standards, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
