About the Role
Mar and Mor Integrated Services is a leading building services company specializing in fully integrated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations. We are currently looking for a skilled Quantity Surveying Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in cost management, budget preparation, and contract administration, ensuring our high-value engineering projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of project plans, contracts, budgets, and detailed bills of quantities.
- Track changes in construction plans and update project budgets accordingly.
- Collaborate with project managers and design teams to prepare comprehensive tender and contract documents.
- Undertake cost and tender analysis for various company projects, ensuring optimal financial value.
- Conduct feasibility studies and establish exact client requirements from the onset.
- Make accurate valuations, ensure quality control of completed work, and process payments for suppliers and subcontractors.
- Identify, analyze, and develop proactive responses to commercial risks.
- Analyze project outcomes and prepare detailed progress reports to ensure deliverables meet schedule requirements.
- University degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of direct experience in the building services industry, specifically focusing on electromechanical, firefighting, HVAC, plumbing, and Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems.
- Active professional certification or membership with the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS), Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN), or other relevant bodies is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and numerical skills with proficiency in industry-standard cost estimation software.
