About the Role
KindHeart Agency, a premium-to-luxury boutique agency delivering state-of-the-art content, is looking for a talented Set Designer to join our creative team. In this project-based role, you will build and design the physical look and feel of shoots and events, ranging from concept development and sourcing to construction, styling, and on-set adjustments. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the final set matches our high-end creative direction while strictly adhering to timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop compelling set concepts that align seamlessly with the overall creative direction of the project.
- Source unique props, quality materials, and stylish furniture within the allocated budget.
- Build, construct, and style physical sets for various campaigns, ensuring high visual appeal.
- Make real-time adjustments and troubleshoot design elements on shoot day.
- Manage set budgets effectively and coordinate with local vendors and suppliers.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to translate brand visions into physical reality.
- Proven experience with a strong portfolio showcasing prior set design work, particularly with lifestyle brands or talent.
- Hands-on building and construction skills with a strong visual and spatial design sense.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced on-set environments.
- Proficiency in basic digital tools including Google Sheets and Google Docs.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work on-site in Lagos and occasionally outside Lagos as project requirements dictate.
