About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Services Senior Specialist in Applications Engineering to join our dynamic team in Nigeria, where you will serve as the technical focal point for complex upper and lower completion applications.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, engineering, and optimization of upper and lower completion systems for offshore and onshore oil and gas projects.
- Specify completion equipment including production packers, SCSSVs, gas lift systems, sand control technologies, and intelligent completions.
- Perform detailed engineering analyses such as tubing stress, burst, collapse, buckling, and packer load calculations using industry software.
- Provide operational support during equipment preparation, installation, commissioning, and well start-up activities.
- Act as the primary technical interface between customers, field operations, manufacturing, and global engineering resources.
- Troubleshoot field issues, lead technical investigations, and mentor junior engineers to drive competency development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 12 years of hands-on completion engineering experience with strong exposure to upper and lower completions.
- Extensive expertise in sand control, Open Hole Gravel Pack (OHGP) applications, and deepwater offshore completion systems.
- Proficiency in tubing stress analysis and engineering design software such as WellCat.
- Demonstrated experience supporting major operator projects with exceptional customer engagement skills.
