About the Role
Nicole Sinclair Consulting is a dynamic Human Resources Consulting firm dedicated to nurturing businesses, people, and maximizing corporate vision. We are currently recruiting a skilled and results-driven Service Advisor / Workshop Supervisor to join our client's automotive team in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. In this hybrid role, you will act as the primary bridge between our valued customers and the technical workshop floor, ensuring seamless service delivery, high customer satisfaction, and profitable workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities- Receive customers warmly, diagnose vehicle complaints, and conduct preliminary assessments.
- Advise clients on necessary repairs, servicing, and preventive maintenance based on vehicle condition and history.
- Translate complex technical issues into clear, accurate service estimates and quotations.
- Follow up on pending quotations to secure customer approvals and drive service revenue and upselling opportunities.
- Coordinate daily workshop activities, allocate jobs efficiently to technicians, and monitor repair timelines.
- Inspect all completed jobs meticulously before vehicle handover to guarantee quality and eliminate rework.
- Manage customer enquiries and resolve complaints promptly to foster long-term relationships and repeat business.
- Provide comprehensive weekly and monthly operational updates to the General Manager.
- B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in an automotive workshop, dealership, or service centre.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising technicians and managing workshop operations.
- Exceptional customer service, negotiation, and service-sales conversion skills.
- In-depth technical knowledge of vehicle servicing, common automotive faults, and modern repair techniques.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with great attention to detail.
