About the Role

Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme Ltd/Gte (ECEWS) is a leading indigenous non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to qualitative healthcare, education, and economic strengthening services across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Technical Officer - Sustainability & Transition. In this impactful role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the long-term viability and local ownership of critical public health initiatives, working closely with state government stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate seamless health program transitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level technical support for sustainability and transition planning activities at the state level.
  • Support the comprehensive documentation of state-specific transition and workforce absorption plans.
  • Drive strategic engagement with state government stakeholders to advance local sustainability initiatives.
  • Assist in meticulously tracking progress against established transition milestones and program objectives.
  • Deliver against approved Global Health Security and Development milestone plans and quarterly performance targets, integrating services across HIV, TB, malaria, and MNCH platforms.
  • Contribute effectively to sustainability-related reports, technical briefs, and donor deliverables.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a first degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in health systems strengthening or health program transition planning.
  • Demonstrated experience working on USG-funded public health projects is strongly preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health system sustainability approaches and stakeholder coordination.
  • Exceptional communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
