Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee comprehensive tax compliance engagements for a diverse portfolio of corporate clients.
- Prepare, review, and file statutory tax returns accurately, including Companies Income Tax, Value Added Tax, Withholding Tax, and PAYE.
- Provide expert tax advisory and consulting services tailored to clients operating across various industries.
- Represent clients professionally during tax audits, investigations, and negotiations with the FIRS and State Internal Revenue Services.
- Monitor evolving tax legislation and promptly advise clients on strategic operational implications.
- Identify innovative tax planning opportunities while strictly maintaining full regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with audit teams by providing specialized tax-related expertise for complex client engagements.
- Prepare detailed tax reports, professional opinions, and high-quality client deliverables.
- Build, nurture, and maintain enduring client relationships through exceptional service delivery.
- Mentor, supervise, and provide technical guidance to junior team members to foster professional growth.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- Professional certification such as ICAN, CITN, or recognized equivalent is a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of solid post-qualification experience in tax practice, audit, or corporate accounting.
- Demonstrated previous experience working within an established audit firm or chartered tax practitioners practice.
- Comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, compliance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously and deliver under strict deadlines.
- Proximity to candidate residential areas including Ogba, Ikeja, Agege, Maryland, Ketu, or surrounding locations is strongly preferred.
