About the Role
Nile University of Nigeria, a prestigious multidisciplinary institution based in Abuja and a proud member of Honoris United Universities, is seeking a highly competent and result-oriented Senior Specialist, Learning Media Producer to join our dynamic Nile Digital Education Department. In this pivotal role, you will lead the planning, production, and post-production of high-quality multimedia learning assets that translate instructional design scripts into engaging visual and audio experiences, ultimately supporting measurable student learning outcomes across our diverse academic programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, storyboard, film, record, and edit instructional videos, screencasts, podcasts, and micro-learning media.
- Produce motion graphics, animation, and voiceover work that align seamlessly with instructional objectives.
- Partner with Learning Designers and Subject Matter Experts to translate scripts into engaging media.
- Own the full production pipeline from pre-production planning and filming to final delivery and asset management.
- Optimize media files for LMS platform delivery, ensuring full compliance with accessibility standards such as WCAG.
- Track emerging trends in e-learning media and mentor junior media producers while managing vendor relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Film, Instructional Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in video and media production, with at least 2 years focused on e-learning or instructional media.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop.
- Working knowledge of e-learning authoring tools like Articulate 360 or Camtasia.
- Solid grounding in instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end production.
