About the Role
NimbleByte Global is a dynamic technology firm specializing in top-notch staff augmentation and consultancy services for businesses worldwide. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our growing team of technology experts in Nigeria. In this role, you will act as a Senior Technical Consultant, leveraging your exceptional communication skills and technical judgment to guide clients and build robust systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend production systems across multiple technology stacks.
- Collaborate directly with U.S.-based clients in technical interviews, solution reviews, and architectural discussions.
- Translate complex business needs into scalable API developments, database structures, and integration solutions.
- Advise cross-functional teams on best practices for cloud platforms, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.
- Ensure seamless delivery of software projects while clearly explaining technical decisions to diverse stakeholders.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1+) with confident spoken communication skills.
- Minimum of 9+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
- Hands-on expertise in at least 2 to 3 modern backend stacks such as Java/Spring, C#/.NET, Node.js, Python/Django, or Ruby on Rails.
- Deep understanding of distributed system design, scalable architecture, and relational or non-relational databases.
- Demonstrated experience in client-facing technical roles, solution consulting, and real-world project delivery.
