Key Responsibilities- Tailor SIEM solutions to unique infrastructure and business needs while monitoring overall system performance.
- Oversee and analyze security defenses across both on-premise and cloud infrastructures.
- Participate in vulnerability and threat identification, incident detection, forensic investigations, and patch management.
- Engage with infrastructure and application teams to drive effective mitigation and remediation efforts.
- Produce executive dashboard security reporting that highlights actionable insights from IT security monitoring tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of overall cybersecurity experience, with at least 5 years specifically as a SOC Analyst.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems with a cybersecurity focus.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CASP+, CEH, GCIH, GCIA, or OSCP.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools like Arcsight, EDR platforms like Crowdstrike Falcon, network monitoring tools, and service management ticketing systems.
