Growth in Value Alliance (GVA) Partners is seeking a skilled and proactive Senior SOC Analyst to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our clients' digital assets by proactively monitoring security infrastructures, detecting threats, and leading incident response efforts. Key Responsibilities- Tailor SIEM solutions to meet unique infrastructure and business needs while monitoring overall security system performance.
- Oversee and analyze security defenses across both on-premises and cloud environments, including endpoint and IAM monitoring.
- Participate in vulnerability identification, threat intelligence tracking, incident detection, response, and forensic investigations.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to drive effective remediation and mitigation strategies.
- Maintain key security metrics and produce comprehensive executive dashboards highlighting actionable insights from IT security tools.
- Establish and enforce industry security best practices, protection objectives, and continuous process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of overall cybersecurity experience, with at least 5 years specifically as a SOC Analyst.
- Strong operational experience with Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems with a security focus.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CASP+, CEH, GCIH, GCIA, or OSCP.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, EDR tools like Falcon Crowdstrike, network monitoring, and ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulations including NIST, PCI, and ISO 27001.
