About the Role
Terra Energy Services Nigeria Limited is a premier indigenous oil and gas engineering service company committed to delivering integrated solutions across the energy value chain. We are currently looking for a talented Senior Reservoir Engineer to join our high-performing subsurface team in Lagos or Port-Harcourt. In this impactful role, you will spearhead reservoir evaluation, dynamic modelling, and strategic field development decision-making to optimize upstream oil and gas assets across West Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Build, update, history-match, and quality-assure reservoir simulation models and dynamic studies.
- Conduct material balance, pressure transient, decline curve, and surveillance analyses to evaluate performance.
- Develop depletion strategies, production forecasts, and robust reserves or resource estimates.
- Evaluate infill drilling, workover, well intervention, and field development opportunities under uncertainty.
- Support Field Development Plans (FDPs), reserves reviews, and investment decision-making processes.
- Integrate geological, petrophysical, production, and well data to form actionable subsurface recommendations.
- Perform uncertainty and risk analysis to drive safe, reliable, and economically effective asset development.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline; postgraduate qualifications are a strong advantage.
- 10 to 15 years of relevant upstream E&P industry experience with proven expertise in reservoir simulation and dynamic modelling.
- Demonstrated capability in reserves evaluation, field development planning, and production optimization.
- Active membership in the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) or another relevant professional body.
- Strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
