We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Registrar in Internal Medicine to join our team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional clinical care, mentoring junior medical staff, and contributing to groundbreaking medical research within a vibrant multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive, high-quality inpatient and outpatient care within the Department of Internal Medicine.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior doctors, medical officers, and medical students.
- Participate actively in departmental ward rounds, clinical meetings, and academic presentations.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct clinical research and contribute to the continuous improvement of hospital protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with hospital standards and ICT frameworks.
- MBBS Degree or its equivalent from a recognized university.
- Evidence of full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Valid current practicing license.
- NYSC discharge certificate or evidence of exemption.
- A pass in the Primary Examination in either National PMCN or West African College of Physicians in Internal Medicine.
- At least 3 years cognate experience after obtaining the relevant professional qualifications.
- Proven ICT compliance and strong interpersonal communication skills.
