About the Role
Hampshire Heights Global Company Limited (HHGCL) is a leading information technology and management consulting firm based in Lagos, Nigeria, specializing in digital transformation and innovative tech solutions for global enterprises and the public sector. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior React/Next.js Engineer to join our dynamic technology team and help revolutionize digital banking experiences across Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain secure, fast, and responsive web applications for internet banking platforms, internal staff portals, and customer-facing interfaces.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript ES6+.
- Implement complex user interfaces and design systems utilizing TailwindCSS and HTML5, ensuring optimal performance and cross-browser compatibility.
- Manage robust application state efficiently using Redux or Zustand.
- Integrate secure REST APIs and manage version control effectively using Git.
- Write comprehensive unit tests to ensure high code quality, reliability, and security standards.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, product managers, and security teams to deliver seamless financial workflows, including dashboards, KYC processes, and 2FA authentication.
- BSc with a minimum of Second Class Lower or HND with a minimum of Upper Credit.
- Completed NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
- Demonstrated professional experience building React.js and Next.js applications, with proficiency in TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and state management tools.
- Prior experience in banking, fintech, or other highly regulated environments is a distinct advantage.
- Familiarity with building financial dashboards, KYC flows, and multi-factor authentication systems.
- Must be available for 100% onsite work at our Lagos office.
