As we expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and analytical Senior Quantity Surveyor with over 8 years of hands-on experience in delivering commercial excellence. Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and tender documents for civil, mechanical, and infrastructure projects.
- Monitor project costs, manage variations, and implement rigorous cost-tracking measures to ensure budgets are strictly adhered to.
- Handle subcontractor procurement, negotiate contracts, and manage interim valuations and final account settlements.
- Defend rate build-ups and contractual claims using rock-solid data and comprehensive market analysis.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to mitigate financial risks and optimize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company commercial policies, industry standards, and relevant Nigerian statutory regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related commercial discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience within the Nigerian oil, gas, or heavy infrastructure construction sectors.
- Professional membership with relevant bodies such as NIQS (Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors) or RICS is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract administration, FIDIC conditions, and advanced cost-control methodologies.
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and data-driven problem-solving abilities.
