About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Purchaser to join our high-performing procurement team and support our expanding fleet and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Source, purchase, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality goods and services to support vessel and Repair Center (RC) operations.
- Identify optimal procurement solutions while negotiating competitive pricing, favorable commercial terms, and precise product specifications.
- Create, process, and meticulously manage purchase orders within the corporate ERP system.
- Coordinate closely with global and local suppliers to track shipments, resolve delivery discrepancies, and guarantee continuity of supply.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with local and international vendors, addressing both technical and commercial matters effectively.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the supplier database and streamline the tender process to ensure maximum value for money and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional procurement and sourcing experience, preferably within the maritime, oil and gas, or heavy industrial sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in vendor negotiation, contract management, and purchase order lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of local Nigerian vendor networks, regulatory requirements, and maritime logistics.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
