About the Role
Kaplo Africa is Africa's most innovative Human Resource & Business Support Solutions provider, delivering cutting-edge business advisory and human capital solutions. We are looking for an experienced Senior Provider Manager to spearhead the growth and management of our healthcare provider network in Benin City and surrounding areas in Edo State, ensuring our enrollees receive top-tier, accessible, and cost-effective medical services.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, recruit, and onboard high-quality healthcare providers including hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies across Edo State.
- Negotiate provider service agreements, tariffs, and service-level agreements while conducting regular facility due diligence.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the HMO and regional medical directors, fostering strong, collaborative relationships.
- Monitor provider performance against NHIA guidelines and internal quality metrics to ensure strict compliance.
- Collaborate with claims and authorization teams to resolve disputes, reduce claim rejections, and streamline patient processing.
- Generate comprehensive reports on network utilization, expansion progress, and strategic healthcare insights for management.
- Bachelor degree in Medicine, Nursing, Health Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in HMO operations, hospital administration, or provider relations within the Nigerian healthcare sector.
- Strong familiarity with NHIA guidelines, provider contracting practices, and the healthcare landscape in Edo State.
- Exceptional negotiation, contract management, and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professional integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and a willingness to travel regularly within the region.
