About the Role
Baker Hughes is a leading global energy technology company operating in over 90 countries, providing advanced solutions to the oil and gas industry. We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Proposals Advisor to join our Integrated Well Services and Solutions team in Nigeria. In this strategic role, you will play a pivotal part in driving business growth by preparing competitive proposals, leading contract negotiations, and ensuring compliance with commercial commitments while maximizing shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive proposals and tender documentation while driving competitive pricing and negotiating deals that deliver strong shareholder value.
- Manage complex sales processes involving technical, economic, logistical, and financial aspects across multiple stakeholders both internally and client-side.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary sales teams comprising engineering, legal, risk, and finance departments for medium to large-scale bids.
- Handle major business unit clients, navigating challenging markets, and overseeing multi-country tenders.
- Provide thorough technical analysis and adapt product systems to meet specific client conditions and operational environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or scientific discipline from an accredited university, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in proposals, commercial management, and tendering within the energy sector.
- Strong technical background and comprehensive understanding of the Oil and Gas industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, highly organized approach.
- Proactive communication and interpersonal skills with exceptional customer service orientation and fluency in English.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, with familiarity in MS Project.
