About the Role
Workforce Group is currently recruiting a dynamic and results-driven Senior Project Manager on behalf of a leading multinational manufacturing organisation. This is an exceptional leadership opportunity to oversee the end-to-end delivery of a high-profile greenfield factory project located in Abuja, Nigeria. We are looking for an accomplished professional with a robust background in managing complex industrial and manufacturing infrastructure from initial conception through to successful commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the overall strategic planning, coordination, and execution of the greenfield factory project.
- Own project timelines, budgetary allocations, financial controls, and critical delivery milestones.
- Manage multidisciplinary engineering and design teams, external contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Coordinate all on-site construction, equipment installation, and plant commissioning activities.
- Conduct regular site meetings, monitor daily progress, and proactively manage project risks.
- Ensure strict compliance with international quality standards and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations.
- Provide comprehensive progress reports to senior management and key internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, or a closely related professional discipline.
- Minimum of 17 years of total professional experience, with at least 7 years dedicated to manufacturing.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end industrial, plant, or greenfield factory projects.
- Strong background in managing contractors, vendors, and complex engineering partnerships.
- Direct experience in manufacturing operations, production environments, and industrial maintenance.
- Familiarity with can manufacturing or packaging plant setup is an added competitive advantage.
