About the Role
ZEZ Nigeria Limited is a leading technical support services provider in the Nigerian oil and gas industry, delivering comprehensive procurement, installation, and maintenance solutions. Headquartered in Lagos with operational hubs in Port Harcourt and Warri, we partner with top Original Equipment Manufacturers to deliver excellence. We are currently seeking a results-driven Senior Procurement Executive to oversee our sourcing operations and strengthen our supply chain capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end procurement cycles including sourcing, issuing RFQs, proposal evaluation, complex negotiations, and purchase order issuance.
- Source specialized materials, heavy equipment, and technical services strictly aligned with project specifications, timelines, and financial budgets.
- Build and maintain robust, strategic relationships with local and international suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance regarding quality, cost efficiency, delivery schedules, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify competitive suppliers, industry trends, and high-impact cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure all procurement activities strictly adhere to company policies, industry standards, and Nigerian regulatory requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive procurement reports, detailed spend analyses, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate closely with project, technical, and Business Development teams to support seamless project execution and bid preparation.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior members of the procurement team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant procurement and strategic sourcing experience.
- Demonstrated experience working within the Energy, Oil and Gas industry is strongly preferred.
- Deep working knowledge of strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and supply chain processes.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, negotiation, and organizational capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Professional procurement certifications such as CIPS represent a distinct added advantage.
