About the Role
Heritage Energy Operational Services Limited (HEOSL) is looking for a dynamic and seasoned Senior Pipeline Engineer to join our vibrant engineering team on a project contract basis. Operating the flagship OML 30 asset in the Niger Delta, we are committed to exploring underappreciated basins to create sustainable value for all stakeholders. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering robust engineering solutions across conceptual, FEED, and detailed design phases, ensuring optimal safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare comprehensive design deliverables, project scopes of work, and technical documentation across conceptual, FEED, and DED phases.
- Conduct feasibility studies, route selection, risk assessments, and participate in critical HAZID and HAZOP reviews.
- Ensure strict compliance with international and local regulatory standards including API, ASME, and ISO.
- Coordinate seamlessly with other engineering disciplines, vendors, OEMs, and contractors during site visits, installation, and commissioning.
- Supervise pipeline contractors, oversee corrosion control, pigging operations, and leak detection systems.
- B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical, Marine, Civil, Petroleum, or Chemical Engineering (M.Sc. in Pipeline or Oil & Gas Engineering is an advantage).
- Mandatory professional certification with NSE and COREN, alongside relevant standards certifications like API or NACE.
- 8 to 10 years of demonstrable pipeline engineering experience within the oil and gas sector.
- Strong technical proficiency in industry software including CAESAR II, AVEVA E3D, ANSYS, OFFPIPE, and PIPESIM.
