About the Role
Terra Energy Services Nigeria Ltd (TES) is a leading indigenous oil and gas service company committed to providing integrated solutions across the entire energy value chain. We are currently looking for a talented Senior Petroleum Engineer to join our dynamic team in Lagos or Port Harcourt. In this impactful role, you will provide advanced reservoir and production engineering expertise to maximize asset performance, support field development plans, and drive sustainable growth for our upstream operations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform integrated reservoir and production engineering studies to support asset development and performance.
- Develop robust production forecasts, depletion strategies, and comprehensive surveillance programs.
- Evaluate reservoir and well performance utilizing pressure, production, and PVT data.
- Identify and mature opportunities for infill drilling, workovers, and well interventions.
- Collaborate closely with Geology, Geophysics, Wells, Production, and Facilities teams.
- Provide technical input for Field Development Plans (FDPs) and reserves evaluations.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for multidisciplinary stakeholders and management.
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of relevant upstream E&P experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrated hands-on expertise in reservoir evaluation and production optimization.
- Strong knowledge of HSE requirements, operational controls, and technical standards.
- Active membership in a relevant professional engineering body is highly desirable.
- Postgraduate qualification in Petroleum or Reservoir Engineering is an added advantage.
