About the Role
Abuja Clinics was established in 1989 as a premier health institution to provide efficient medical services across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). From humble beginnings, we have grown into a trusted group of three multi-specialty hospitals located in the Karu, Garki, and Maitama districts, equipped with advanced medical technology to support our dedicated healthcare professionals. We are currently seeking a dynamic and compassionate Senior Nurse to elevate our patient care standards and mentor our nursing team.
Key Responsibilities- Implement comprehensive nursing care plans for patients in designated work stations and departments.
- Assist the medical team seamlessly in patient diagnosis, procedures, and treatment administration.
- Perform critical clinical procedures including triage, IV placement, wound dressings, medication administration, and patient admissions and discharges.
- Monitor patient vital signs closely, conduct necessary follow-ups, and maintain accurate documentation of all patient encounters.
- Ensure prompt incidence reporting and proactive management of patient grievances while upholding strict quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional clinical environment in compliance with standard operating procedures and hospital policies.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc) or relevant nursing qualifications from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional nursing experience in a reputable healthcare setting.
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Midwife (RM) with a current, valid Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria practicing license.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in electronic health records management.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
