About the Role
Dragnet Solutions is looking for a dedicated and skilled Senior Medical Officer to join our healthcare team in Kaduna. In this role, you will deliver high-quality clinical care specializing in obstetrics and gynaecology, operating largely independently across both out-patient and in-patient environments while supporting consultant-led operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide independent assessment, accurate diagnosis, and comprehensive management of patients in obstetrics and gynaecology.
- Support consultant-led clinics, ward rounds, and medical procedures while managing complex cases appropriately.
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior medical officers and trainees to foster professional development.
- Participate actively in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and patient-safety programs.
- Maintain precise, timely clinical records and ensure current MDCN registration and licensing compliance.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care and support HMO processes.
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognized institution.
- Completed mandatory housemanship/internship and NYSC, or possess a valid exemption letter.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-NYSC clinical experience with demonstrable expertise in obstetrics and gynaecology.
- Valid and current practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Progress toward a postgraduate fellowship (such as primary or part examinations of the National Postgraduate Medical College or West African College) is an added advantage.
